I felt compelled to create a few original pieces of art on the theme of patriotism and what that looks like through my eyes. This eagle is perched on the base of the Statue of Liberty, clutching an American flag, his head bowed in reverence and remembrance and honor.
The tall, thin size of this piece is unique and bold, as is the coloring. It’s red, white, and blue, but in unexpected ways.
